Motordesigner
The programm Motordesigner is a pre and post processor for FEM programs (FEMAG-2D and Flux-2D are currently supportet).
The geometry and parameters of the motor can be specified in the gui on the left side. The motor preview on the right side
will be automatically updated if an input is set. The program can compute bemf, coggingtorque and loadtorque.
MD generates the necessary scripts for the selected FEM program. Afterwards MD starts the program and the script is interpreted.
MD reads the results of the simulation and displays the graphical and numerical representations.
The demo video at the end of the site demonstrates how to work with MD. The programm displays the motor geometry on the right side,
as well as the numerical results and graphs. The inputs for the program (such as material, geometry or control parameter) have to be set on
the left side of the gui.
